GRE: 710 Quantitative/700 Verbal/5.5 Essay. Latin and Greek language tutor since 2008. Taught undergraduate classes at the University of Pennsylvania focusing on Greek and Roman history, as well as researching and writing a college-level paper. Ultimately, my teaching philosophy is to equip students with the skills needed to achieve their own goals. My method is to engage students and, hopefully, inspire them with a love of the material through discussion and heavy involvement on the part of the student - learning is not a one way street of knowledge going from instructor to student, but rather should involve participation from both. This creates an environment where the student is more of an equal and can actually be excited and eager to learn.
